BET Awards Performances–Kanye West, Chris Brown, Eminem, Keyshia Cole…[Video!]

The BET Awards took place last night and there were quite a few standout performances that are worth looking at again.
Kanye West opened the show (above) with a dramatic performance art piece where he simply stood still up on the mountaintop looking like Moses with the microphone stand as his staff and a huge video backdrop.

This started a whole bunch of fockery on Twitter. Some of y’all going so far as to say his performance negates the whole woman-beater thing. I’m just gonna sit here and watch y’all fight about that. In the meantime Chris Brown should be penning the upcoming bestseller, “How To Get Everyone Back On Your Dick”.

I also liked the Eminem, Keyshia Cole, and B.O.B. performance of “Airplanes Part 2/Not Afraid“.
